Why C.S.I. B.Ed College is different?
“LEARN TO LEARN”
Not the buildings, but what is happening inside, is the important determinant of
its’ high light. The academic energy input that vitalizes the potentials of the
learners is the unique process that the college feels it’s special property.
Walls and charts have no life in them unless the knowledge-transfer is provided to them.
When the spirit entered into the heap of bones, they became human beings
( Ezekiel 37: 2-14 ),
Such spirit God has provided in the institution by the dedication and commitment of the team of faculty.
The training they constantly undergo under the leadership of
Dr. J.P. Gabriel, Director of the college
is the drive force of operation.

Media Research Centre of UGC, who has been guiding students at Ph.D level both in M.K. University and
Alagappa University, Karakudi. Still he guides students in Educational Research)
The college has the air of democracy with freedom of expression and sharing. Meeting between the
students-staff-parents provide energy to venture boldly into yet un trodden areas.
One such is the “Networking among CSI institution in Counselling” involving students and teachers
for the common benefit.
The flexibility in administration has provided every one the necessary opportunity in decision taking.
Often called staff meetings allow the members to share and criticize in true spirit of improvement.
Public opinions are collected to sieve the good in it.
POTENTIALIZATION
There is no dearth in co curricular activities to enrich the students performances and to provide
opportunities for development. All departments have their own “Department Clubs” apart from the college
core clubs for college activities. The leader is elected among them once the academic year commences and
allocated with a calendar for expected performances after discussion. Achieving the full list is left to
them, but it will have a drive on the team for completion before the end. Targets to reach set the goal
or objectives before them. While college education is sadly reduced to “note dictation”,
the trend to equip them “Learn to Learn” is practiced in this campus.
The way to form the “Knowledge Society” is the vision of the institution. Tagore said only
a lighted candle alone can lit another, so we intend providing the light of wisdom and the knowledge
of discovery among our students. The Hall mark that we want them to take is – “I Can”.
INDIVIDUALIZATION
Self – Esteem hardly been hardly been reflected by many because of the traditional style of instruction
that demands obedience to system. Freedom is restricted even from acquiring information by convincing
the students by habituating them that the only source of information is the guru. The bondage is neither
felt and hardly attemptes are structured to break. Library happened to be stuffed with racks of books and
access is either denied or minimized. Opportunities to establish Self- Identity through participation in
organized Debates in the college help to realize the hidden potentials wanting to be discovered in individuals.
